​Bringing moving picture shows to the Manning, Alberta area since 1949

Back before the Aurora Theatre was even for sale or on our radar of being a possible business opportunity, we chose it as our wedding venue. One of the first buildings in Manning, built in 1949, it had old charm and an abundance of nostalgia. In search of something unique and that suited our personal interests, it was our first choice. That was September 18, 2010. A few months later in the spring of 2011, we received word that the owners were interested in selling. After meetings, some training and of course a few visits to the bank, we took over on August 15, 2011. Concurring many changes already including lobby renovations, a digital conversion with a much shorter timeline then we anticipated, welcoming a boy to our family, a market decline, sticking around during a pandemic, we are loving our journey. Join us for a cinema experience, with the best popcorn around, reasonable prices and great customer service.
